With the football season all but over, it’s never a bad time to start looking ahead to next season. Today is Georgia Tech’s National Signing Day and you can watch all of the action unfold on ACC Network Extra or stream it on the ESPN app. Soon we will know the official members of the 2021 recruiting class as the announcements will be made today. For the most part, last year’s class was a success. Hopefully this year turns out just as well.

Well, as this article points out the Yellow Jackets’ football season has come to an anti-climatic ending. Appropriately enough it ends with the cancellation of what was to be the team’s final game of the year - a rescheduled game, of course, against Miami. Tech ends the season with an overall record of 3-7 (3-6 in the ACC). The team has ruled out the possibility of any bowl games. With just 16 days until 2021, everyone can start looking forward to the next season. For many, not just those in the sporting world, 2020 cannot come to an end soon enough.

The Yellow Jackets men’s basketball team travelled to Tallahassee for a road game against the Florida State Seminoles. The game ended with the Yellow Jackets falling to the 15th ranked Seminoles 74-61. Their next game will be a home game this Friday as the Yellow Jackets host the Florida A&M Rattlers. Tip-off is set for 7:00 PM at the McCamish Pavilion. #GoJackets

As this article mentions, the Yellow Jackets have picked up a new signing from the transfer portal. Old Dominion defensive end Keion White has announced his intention to transfer to Tech. Head coach Geoff Collins and his staff have been able to pick up key contributors from the transfer portal. While the Yellow Jackets do have a lot of depth at that position, it is nice to have an additional dominant player which White certainly is. Welcome to the Flats!
