Technical Tidbits 11/25: Basketball Season Starts Today For Men’s and Women’s Teams

Last week the ACC announced the tip times for the men’s basketball team. This week the women’s scheduled tip times were announced. According to the released schedule, six of the Yellow Jackets games will be broadcast on the ACC Network and three on the ACC’s Regional Sports Network. One highlight from the schedule: the Yellow Jackets will host Georgia on Sunday, Nov. 29 with a tip time of 2:00 PM. That game will be broadcast on the ACC Network. #THWG

The Yellow Jackets men’s basketball team start its season tonight at 9:00 PM. They host Georgia State at McCamish Pavilion.

Sophomore Justice Dingle has entered his name into the transfer portal. As the article mentions, Dingle has a total of eight tackles and one sack as a defensive end. He has one tackle on the season from the Louisville game. There’s a chance Dingle will transfer to Kentucky where his younger brother has committed to. Good luck to him wherever he ends up transferring to.

After a long wait, it looks like the Yellow Jackets are on track to play their first game in over four weeks. The Duke Blue Devils will be in town this Thanksgiving weekend for a Saturday night game. Kickoff is set for 7:00 PM at Bobby Dodd Stadium. The game will be broadcast on RSN.

The Yellow Jackets are ranked 11th in this power rankings. On Saturday night they host the Duke Blue Devils who are ranked 13th in the same power rankings. The Blue Devils are coming off of a 56-24 thumping from UNC two weeks ago. When the Saturday night game arrives, the Yellow Jackets will have not played a game in 28 days. Hopefully the team is not too rusty. With a win, one of these teams will likely move up in the rankings. #GoJackets
