The Yellow Jackets basketball team’s 2021 recruiting class added a new commitment and it’s a pretty significant one. Dallan “Deebo” Coleman announced on Twitter his commitment to the Yellow Jackets. Coleman is considered one of the best guards in the country and with his commitment, head coach Josh Pastner adds a major talent to the team. At 6’6” Coleman is a natural as a shooting guard but he can also play point guard. As the article states, Pastner and Coleman have a relationship that goes back to Coleman’s days in middle school and when Pastner was the coach at Memphis. Naturally, Tech would have been one of his top choices. With the announcement it is now official.

Athletic Director Todd Stansbury’s latest podcast is available for download. As the article mentions, Stansbury discusses a lot of topics regarding Tech athletics, including the football and volleyball teams among others. There’s also information regarding the “Black Watch” where Tech will be donning some throwback jerseys and the departments support for the voting initiative that has become nationally renowned.

So will it be Notre Dame’s rushing game or Georgia Tech’s passing game? This article breaks down reasons why either team could win the upcoming game this weekend between the Yellow Jackets and the Fighting Irish. Tech’s defense has been miserable against the run which is one of the strong points of the Fighting Irish team. Tech’s defense will have its hands full. Hopefully it can produce enough turnovers to give the offense enough opportunities, but Tech’s passing game will have to be flawless and avoid turning the ball over itself. Notre Dame’s win over Louisville was a low scoring affair. There’s no reason why Tech cannot keep the game close in a similar fashion considering how they fared against Louisville. Hopefully it will be a clean game with fewer penalties and mistakes.

This SI article provides a look at the Yellow Jackets’ depth chart (or ATL chart) going into the game against Notre Dame. #GoJackets
