It was announced yesterday that Georgia Tech’s game against Notre Dame on Halloween would kickoff at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC. This is the most national TV exposure that the Yellow Jackets have had in a season in a long time (as we saw Saturday, that’s not always a good thing). According to the article above, 2006 was the last year where Tech had at least four national TV games. This week’s contest against Boston College will kickoff at 4 p.m. ET on the ACC Network.
While the end result of the Clemson game was not pretty, it is great that Georgia Tech is building a strong relationship with one of its most famous former players, Joe Anoa’i, aka Roman Reigns. Pictures made the rounds on social media Friday showing Tech players in shirts with Reigns’ slogan, “Wreck everything and leave.” The wording fits Georgia Tech perfectly, and the connection with Reigns can only lead to even more publicity for the program. I see the beginning of a long and fruitful partnership.
Ben Smith had a pretty good weekend. The junior came in second at the Golf Coaches Association of America’s (GCAA) Amateur event for college players at the University of Louisville Golf Club. Smith lost by seven strokes to a Louisville player, and will be competing at this weekend’s amateur event at the Golf Club of Georgia. Tournaments like these are a great way to keep players ready for an eventual return to official college golf.
If you would like to get to know star Yellow Jacket golfer Noah Norton, the video above is your chance. Norton is looking to have a dominant senior season in the spring, one that will springboard him to a professional career. He has had some solid performances on the Korn Ferry Tour and on the amateur golf circuit this year. Keep it up, Noah!
In honor of Georgia Tech and BC’s first meeting since the 2016 season opener in Dublin, Ireland, it’s time to once again break out the greatest commemorative t-shirt ever made. Wear ‘em proudly this week. pic.twitter.com/WfYriIK4rA

Where can I find one of these? Absolutely incredible.
Question of the Day: Thoughts on Tech’s upcoming matchup with Boston College?
