Tonight, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets men’s basketball team will have what’s easily its greatest challenge thus far this season. They will be hosting the No. 2 ranked Duke Blue Devils and it will be a big game for Tech. As the article points out, it’s going to be a big crowd as well as the game has already sold out. Tip-off is set for 9:00 PM.
After last week’s win over UNC, the Yellow Jackets will try to upset another ACC foe. This is a great article that breaks down some of what the Yellow Jackets will need to do in tonight’s match-up against the Duke Blue Devils. As the article points out, defense and shooting well from the field could be two factors that allow the Yellow Jackets to have a chance. Also, as stated in the article, limiting the Blue Devils’ points off of turnovers and defensive rebounds will be key. Last year the Yellow Jackets managed to hold a seven point lead in the second half against the Blue Devils -- though they finally lost 66-53 -- so it’s not impossible to imagine Tech pulling off an upset. Hopefully, they can play their best game and it will be enough for what would amount to a huge upset victory. #GoJackets
Okay, another article about the upcoming game tonight. This one is part of the regular video previews we’ve been seeing featuring Tech basketball head coach Josh Pastner. Pastner shares his thoughts on the upcoming game. By the way, the more of Pastner that I see in this video series, the more I just can’t resist asking: Does anyone else think he resembles Fred Savage, or for those old enough to know, the kid from the Wonder Years?
