Countdown to Tipoff: 36 Days
Welcome back Jacket fans! Time for a little distraction from football (thank god), as we are just over one month away from the start of the basketball season, which tips off November 5. Despite the unfortunate announcement from the NCAA of a postseason ban last week (which the team is hopefully appealing), there is still plenty to look forward to for the upcoming season, as Georgia Tech has arguably one of the most talented teams that they have had in a while. Over the next month, we will be providing you with everything you need to make sure you are ready for the start of the season.
After a couple disappointing seasons in a row, the Jackets come into this season with one of the more talented teams that has been on the flats in years. Gone are Abdoulaye Gueye and Brandon Alston, but returning are James Banks, Jose Alvarado, Michael Devoe, and Moses Wright among others, plus the additions of highly touted transfers Jordan Usher and Bubba Parham.

With the launch of the ACC Network this year, the conference has decided to switch to a 20 game conference schedule, meaning even more prime time, high quality matchups for your Yellow Jackets.
