At least this isn’t a 12:00 p.m. kickoff. Since the Temple game will be away for the Jackets, the AAC got to determine the channel and time for the game, so that’s why it will be on an unfamiliar channel for Tech fans. The CBS Sports Network will be broadcasting the showdown, with Geoff Collins’ return to Philadelphia coming just four games (counting bowls) after he left. Let’s hope the new channel will be a good omen for the Jackets.
This was probably the worst part about the game Saturday, it was clear that the entire team was hurt by the injury of Jahaziel Lee. The injury is a big blow for the offensive and defensive lines, as Lee was playing on both until his broken fibula against The Citadel. Lee is a leader in the locker room, so look for the Jackets to rally around him and continue to rally around Brandon Adams for the rest of the season. Good luck in your recovery Jahaziel!
I’ll just leave this here. If you want to relive the pain, fine. If you don’t, just keep scrolling.
On paper, this should’ve been an easy commit for Josh Pastner and the rest of the coaching staff. The four-star Brown is a native of Decatur, Georgia, and would easily be the most touted prospect since Michael Devoe in the class of 2018. However, Brown chose THE Ohio State University instead, and is one of a number of recruits that Pastner has lost out on, even after being in their top-fives or even threes. Pastner has consistently missed on big recruits, and his inability to close with recruits will be a major factor in his job security if the team fails to perform this year.
The Yellow Jacket women’s tennis team will look to go further in the NCAA tournament this year, after reaching the second round last year. This slate of four events should give us a good look at the Yellow Jackets coming into the season, where they have a good mix of veterans and newcomers leading the team. Good luck ladies!
Question of the Day: What do you think about Pastner’s recruiting failures?
