Georgia Tech picked up one of its biggest commitments in history on Sunday afternoon.

Geoff Collins received the biggest commitment of his brief tenure on Sunday afternoon with the news that four-star cornerback Miles Brooks will play out his college years at Georgia Tech.

Brooks, who comes to Tech by way of Trinity High School in Jacksonville, FL, is among the best prospects we’ve ever seen commit to Tech: he is the 10th highest-rated recruit in Georgia Tech history by 247Sports Composite ranking and the 2nd highest-rated of the past decade, coming in behind only Justin Thomas. Recruited primarily by defensive ends and outside linebackers coach Marco Coleman, Brooks chose Georgia Tech over reported offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Ohio State, and virtually everyone else. He is the 14th-rated cornerback in the nation and a top-200 player overall.

Brooks is the fourth member of what will be Geoff Collins’ first full cycle, joining a trio of three-star prospects who committed over the first two weeks of March. His commitment bumped Georgia Tech’s 2020 recruiting class up to 25th nationally.

Congratulations to Miles and his family on his commitment to Georgia Tech!
