Ouch, did he really attempt to reduce everything Georgia Tech football head coach Geoff Collins and his coaching staff are doing to get Tech’s program on the right track to such a simple take as “Georgia Tech football is a series of bromides lacking the truth of winning” -- the results of the 2020 recruiting class should be evidence enough that it’s a lot more than that. Anyway, that’s not the main point of contention I have with the article. Others have tried to do it, namely the u[sic]GA coaching staff via their Twitter account, but this is the first time I’ve read it in an article. Let’s get it straight for the record: The bulldogs are not and never will be (or should ever be) considered a home team in Atlanta.
Well, that’s a good way for the Yellow Jackets women’s basketball team to open up ACC play. They defeated the Virginia Cavaliers 61-51. Four Yellow Jackets scoring in double-figures is encouraging. Lorela Cubaj led all Tech scorers with 18 points. The Yellow Jackets are now 10-2 and 1-0 in ACC play. Their next game will be another ACC match-up as they host the Miami Hurricanes on January 2, 2020. Tipoff is set for 7:00 PM at McCamish Pavilion and the game will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra. #GoJackets
So, this seems to be a regular series they’re doing where they feature a short interview with one of the men’s Yellow Jacket basketball players. In this edition, it’s David Didenko who is featured. I like David’s answer to the question “if you could have one super power what would it be?”; I bet teleportation could be useful on the basketball court too.
In case you’re wondering what’s going on with the Yellow Jackets men’s basketball team and you’re anxious to find out right away, then here’s the article for you. It’s an audio interview piece featuring Tech head coach Josh Pastner. In the interview, Pastner discusses the Yellow Jackets upcoming game against Florida State. Tech will be on the road for this New Year’s Eve match which takes place tomorrow at the Donald L. Tucker Center in Tallahassee, Florida. This will be the Yellow Jackets third ACC game of the season. They are currently 1-1 in the ACC standings and 6-6 overall. Good luck to the men’s team as they travel down south to face off against the Seminoles.
