With just a couple games left in the season, the postseason picture is really starting to clear up. Let’s take a look at this week’s FanPulse rankings!

LSU and Ohio State stay at the top of the rankings once again, but let’s see how these compare with the FTRS rankings compare!

  1. LSU Tigers (LW: 1)
  2. Ohio State Buckeyes (LW: T-2)
  3. Clemson Tigers (LW: T-2)
  4. Alabama Crimson Tide (LW: 4)
  5. Oklahoma Sooners (LW: 7)
  6. Utah Utes (LW: 10)
  7. Oregon Ducks (LW: 9)
  8. Penn State Nittany Lions (LW: 8)
  9. Georgia Bulldogs (LW: 12)
  10. Florida Gators (LW: 11)
  11. Baylor Bears (LW: 5)
  12. Minnesota Golden Gophers (LW: 6)
  13. Memphis Tigers (LW: 14)
  14. Auburn Tigers (LW: 13)
  15. Notre Dame Fighting Irish (LW: 17)
  16. Cincinnati Bearcats (LW: 15)
  17. Wisconsin Badgers (LW: 16)
  18. SMU Mustangs (LW: 18)
  19. Michigan Wolverines (LW: 20)
  20. Appalachian St. Mountaineers (LW: 19)
  21. Boise State Broncos (LW: 21)
  22. Iowa Hawkeyes (LW: NR)
  23. Virginia Tech Hokies (LW: 23)
  24. Air Force Falcons (LW: NR)
  25. Oklahoma State Cowboys (LW: NR)

The biggest disappointment here is that Indiana has fallen out of the rankings, but now Air Force is there, so I can deal with that.

This week’s Question of the Week asked voters which team will make it to the College Football Playoff, and well, I don’t think y’all are gonna like the leading vote-getter.

At this point, I think Georgia is more likely than Alabama if there is going to be a second SEC team, but I don’t think Georgia makes it without beating LSU in the SEC Championship Game. Because of that, I think it’ll come down to Oklahoma and the winner of the Oregon/Utah game (assuming they win the Pac-12).

After Georgia Tech’s loss to the Hokies Saturday, fan confidence took a bit of hit all the way down to 52.4 percent. This is the lowest is has gotten since right after The Citadel game.

In other news, fan confidence in the basketball team is gradually improving! This week, it’s up to 71.4 percent!

I’m curious to see how this continues to grow through the rest of the season!
