Ed. Note: The reason the Rankings weren’t released last week is because there was some confusion all around in terms of the graphics, and I didn’t want to post until we had them all. We still don’t and it’s the next week, so I’m just going to include what I had at the bottom of this post.

Well, Georgia Tech’s last bye week is over, and we’re getting ready to move into November, and man was it a crazy weekend in college football! We’ve got rankings, but there’s a decent chance things get even crazier!

Taking after this week’s AP Poll, the LSU Tigers moved into the Number 1 spot ahead of the Crimson Tide. Let’s see how the FTRS Rankings compare.

T-1. Alabama Crimson Tide (LW: T-2)

T-1. LSU Tigers (LW: T-2)

3. Clemson Tigers (LW: 1)

4. Ohio State Buckeyes (LW: 4)

5. Penn State Nittany Lions (LW: 6)

6. Florida Gators (LW: 8)

7. Baylor Bears (LW: 14)

8. Oklahoma Sooners (LW: 5)

9. Utah Utes (LW: 18)

10. Oregon Ducks (LW: 10)

11. SMU Mustangs (LW: 12)

12. Auburn Tigers (LW: 7)

13. Minnesota Golden Gophers (LW: 13)

14. Notre Dame Fighting Irish (LW: 9)

15. Cincinnati Bearcats (LW: 17)

16. Appalachian St. Mountaineers (LW: 19)

17. Georgia Bulldogs (LW: 15)

T-18. Michigan Wolverines (LW: NR)

T-18. Wake Forest Demon Deacons (LW: 20)

T-18. Wisconsin Badgers (LW: 11)

21. Boise State Broncos (LW: 23)

22. Memphis Tigers (LW: NR)

23. San Diego State Atzecs (LW: T-24)

24. Louisiana Tech Bulldogs (LW: NR)

25. Navy Midshipmen (LW: NR)

You know, I think I’m just about ready to hop on the Baylor bandwagon. Matt Rhule has done an excellent job with that team. Now all he’s gotta do is checks notes beat Oklahoma. Yeah, that won’t be a problem at at all (nervous laughter).

This week’s question asked participants what they thought was the most surprising moment of the week.

It’s first-year head coach Chris Klieman and the Kansas State Wildcats upsetting Oklahoma. Man, what a game.

Fan confidence also creeped up a little bit during the bye.

After jumping up to 80 percent last week, fan confidence improved again to 81.3 percent. It’s amazing what a win over Miami does.

And now, here’s the stuff from last week!

It’s crazy to believe that we’re over halfway through the season already. It feels like it just started. Anyway, the picture of College Football is growing ever clearer.

Let’s see how the FTRS Rankings look.

1. Clemson Tigers (LW: 2)

T-2. Alabama Crimson Tide (LW: 1)

T-2. LSU Tigers (LW: 3)

4. Ohio State Buckeyes (LW: 4)

5. Oklahoma Sooners (LW: 5)

6. Penn State Nittany Lions (LW: 7)

7. Auburn Tigers (LW: 8)

8. Florida Gators (LW: 11)

9. Notre Dame Fighting Irish (LW: 9)

10. Oregon Ducks (LW: 10)

11. Wisconsin Badgers (LW: 6)

12. SMU Mustangs (LW: 15)

13. Minnesota Golden Gophers (LW: 13)

14. Baylor Bears (LW: 21)

15. Georgia Bulldogs (LW: 17)

16. Texas Longhorns (LW: 14)

17. Cincinnati Bearcats (LW: 22)

18. Utah Utes (LW: 16)

19. Appalachian St. Mountaineers (LW: 24)

20. Wake Forest Demon Deacons (LW: 23)

T-21. Arizona State Sun Devils (LW: 20)

T-21. Virginia Cavaliers (LW: 25)

23. Boise State Broncos (LW: 12)

T-24. San Diego State Aztecs (LW: NR)

T-24. Virginia Tech Hokies (LW: NR)

Virginia Tech being ranked is not something I expected earlier this season, but here we are. Needless to say, this season is just weird.

Let’s check in on fan confidence.

Well that’s a nice little boost up to 80 percent after a nice win over the Hurricanes in South Beach. The team is definitely coming along, and I’m glad people are seeing that.
