Khalid Moore

#12 - Forward - 6-7 203 - Sophomore - Briarwood, N.Y

4.2 points - 1.5 rebounds - .482 from the floor - .318 from behind the arc

Moore played in 31 games last year for the Jackets, making 10 starts, his biggest run being six straight starts at the end of the non-conference portion of the schedule. His best game was a 14 point outing against Florida A&M, he also scored 11 in his last start of the season, against Notre Dame in the ACC tournament. Moore played well during the team’s trip to Spain, scoring 12 points in the final game of the tour. Moore played most of his minutes on the wing and will look to continue there this season. It will be interesting to see the impact that Usher’s becoming eligible will have on the minutes Moore plays later in the season.

Kristian Sjolund

#35 - Forward - 6-8 213 - Sophomore - Kongsberg, Norway

3.0 points - 1.0 rebounds - .357 from the floor - .333 from behind the arc

Sjolund played in 21 games last season for the Jackets, starting 4 of them, all of his starts were in a late February run. He had two 11 point outings last season, vs. VT and FSU. Sjolund had a great first game in the team’s Spain trip, scoring 16 points to lead the team. Sjolund showed a willingness to shoot from the outside that will help the Jackets in an area they have struggled the past few seasons.
