Hello all of you wonderful people! Now that we’re halfway through the season, we’re starting to get a better picture of the college football landscape. The biggest thing we’ve learned is that the ACC is really not good this year, and the FanPulse rankings reflect that.

Despite losing to Miami and Louisville (respectively), the Cavaliers and Demon Deacons managed to stay in the Top 25, but Clemson is the only other team in the Top 25. Let’s see how it compares to the FTRS Rankings.
- Alabama Crimson Tide (LW: 1)
- Clemson Tigers (LW: 2)
- LSU Tigers (LW: 4)
- Ohio State Buckeyes (LW: 3)
- Oklahoma Sooners (LW: 5)
- Wisconsin Badgers (LW: 6)
- Penn State Nittany Lions (LW: 12)
- Auburn Tigers (LW: 10)
- Notre Dame Fighting Irish (LW: 9)
- Oregon Ducks (LW: 13)
- Florida Gators (LW: 7)
- Boise State Broncos (LW: 14)
- Minnesota Golden Gophers (LW: NR)
- Texas Longhorns (LW: 11)
- SMU Mustangs (LW: 23)
- Utah Utes (LW: 18)
- Georgia Bulldogs (LW: 8)
- Missouri Tigers (LW: NR)
- Michigan Wolverines (LW: 16)
- Arizona State Sun Devils (LW: 20)
- Baylor Bears (LW: NR)
- Cincinnati Bearcats (LW: NR)
- Wake Forest Demon Deacons (LW: 19)
- Appalachian St. Mountaineers (LW: NR)
- Virginia Cavaliers (LW: 21)
Whoo boy, there’s some big changes here, but none bigger than the Minnesota Golden Gophers coming out of nowhere to jump up to No. 13 after a 6-0 start. It’s been something!
The extra question this week looked at Heisman candidates at the midseason point.

I’m not gonna lie. I’m a little surprised Jalen Hurts isn’t on top here. Don’t get me wrong, Joe Burrow has been very good this season, but what Hurts is doing at Oklahoma has been equally impressive to me. It should be a fun battle to watch the rest of the season!

Fan confidence dropped just a bit this week down to 65 percent. I think the Yellow Jackets are finally showing some improvement, especially on offense, but we’re really seeing how much of a rebuild this is proving to be. Tech isn’t great, but I think Collins is doing a good job of setting the groundwork to build the program up.
