Battle has been a double figure scorer since stepping on campus at Syracuse. His numbers are down a bit from last season, though he has 7 20+ point games this season and has been held to single digits only twice, both Syracuse wins. Hughes has become a solid contributor for the Orange this season, sitting out last season after transferring from ECU. Hughes has scored in double figures in every game this season, expect for two, with two 20+ point games. He as also shot .364 from behind the three-point line.

Brissett is the third double figure scorer and third player to average over 30 minutes per game. He has four double-doubles this season and leads the team in rebounds.

Howard has started 11 games for the Orange this season, with two double figure scoring games. He is also the leading assist maker for Syracuse.

Carey is the main freshman option for Syracuse. He has two double figure outings, highlighted by 26-point explosion in a loss to UCONN.

Conclusion
The Jackets are coming off a heart-breaking loss in their last game. The Orange are on a two-game win streak in the ACC. A win in the Carrier Dome would be a great shot in the arm for Tech but looks to be a tall order.
