Georgia Tech Dominates Number 6 Florida State To Secure Series Win

The Yellow Jackets have had some struggles this year, but they had absolutely none yesterday as they dominated in a 16-3 win. They were led by Austin Wilhite and Kyle McCann who each went 3-4 and combined for 8 RBIs. Wilhite also had a thrilling inside the park home run. This win followed up a tight 2-1 win on Saturday to give the Yellow Jackets the series win and got the team above .500 in conference.

Notes From Tech’s Second Scrimmage

Paul Johnson has things to say about Tech’s offensive line play and they are not very good. He said the starters were struggling and called the play of the second string “horrendous”. Yikes. If you’re looking for some positives, the offense didn’t turn the ball over in over 100 plays and Jalen Camp is looking good at wide receiver. The defense seems excited to be playing a more aggressive style. David Curry hurt his fingers and will be out for the remainder of the spring.
