Mysterious mysteries. Besides the obvious, something major is happening this morning at 8am. Everyone’s being coy about it, including T-Stan. What could it possibly be? A major branding announcement? Maybe a new wordmark? Or a decision on what the new gold will be? Okay, yeah, it’s that last one.
Oh, yeah, I guess that’s important too. Of course, I know you’re all here to be reminded about the annual spring game and.... look, can everyone come sit close for a second? A little closer. Good. It’s a spring football game, y’all. It don’t matter none. We gather around to watch a glorified spring practice because it is the closest to real football we’ll get for months, and that’s fine. Let’s just enjoy it for what it is, and not get too concerned with how the quarterbacks (most of whom will be non-contact) look, or how many people to show up to not actual football, or whether it’s going to be on TV. (It’s not, by the way, and Paul Johnson’s feelings on that are exactly what you expect them to be.) Anyway, the game is at 7pm tonight at Bobby Dodd Stadium, and, as mentioned, not available for viewing on TV or the internet, so be there, or you don’t get to complain about attendance in the comments.
