1!Well as of right now, there’s two pretty big things going on in relation to Georgia Tech Sports: a coaching search and news about the bowl, so this edition of Technical Tidbits will be pretty focused on that. But, before we get to that, we’ve got other news!

Georgia Tech Women’s Basketball Coach MaChelle Joseph reached a milestone over the weekend, securing her 300th career victory. Joseph has been the coach since the 2003-04 season and has only ever been at Georgia Tech. Congratulations on an incredible achievement Coach Jo!
This was a really cool article Ken Sugiura put together. He reached out to a whole bunch of former players to get their thoughts on the coaching search. The commonality among them? None of them suggested Ken Whisenhunt would be a good hire. Crazy.
I think it’s pretty safe to say almost nobody is happy about Georgia Tech going to the QuickLane Bowl. Geographically, it’s not convenient for a lot of Tech fans and being the day after Christmas, not many people will want to go. Tech’s players feel the same way, though I think it’s important to mention that a good number of them also posted that they were not going to give up on the game because they aren’t happy with the location.
