Defensive Lineman Justice Dingle saw his name appear in an interesting place last night

Tech’s Defense Vastly Improved in Turnover Department

It has been said before, but it bears repeating. This Georgia Tech defense is the best in recent memory at creating turnovers by a wide margin. It has already doubled last year’s season output with 20 takeaways in just 9 games, and hopefully will continue to build on that number as the season hits the home stretch. ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week Anree Saint-Amour has been a big part of those takeaways, with two interceptions and three forced fumbles this year.

Tech’s Justice Dingle Featured on Jeopardy

Georgia Tech defensive lineman Justice Dingle made it onto Jeopardy last night under the category “2018 College Football Names”. He was incorrectly listed as a linebacker, but the first contestant to buzz (pun intended) in correctly named Georgia Tech as the school where he plays.

Women’s Basketball Announces Captains

It was announced yesterday that Martine Fortune, Francesca Pan, Kierra Fletcher, and Lotta-Maj Lahtinen will be the captains for the women’s basketball team this winter. The team chose one captain in each class, which is not a usual strategy for selecting captains. That said, it will be important for young players like Fletcher and Lahtinen to get leadership experience for further down the road, and I think Coach Joseph has a really good thing going in allowing the underclassmen to be captains.
