Technical Tidbits 10/9: The Very Late Edition

We’re late, but we’ve got some good stuff!

NCAA Football: Georgia Tech at Louisville Jamie Rhodes-USA TODAY Sports

It’s no secret that AJ Gray was a key part of the secondary during his time at Tech, and we were all very concerned after he was diagnosed with a career-ending condition. Gray did not let that keep him away from the field, though. Instead of playing safety, he decided to help coach the safeties and stingers. That stinger position is still trying to figure itself out, but the safety play this season has been rather incredible.

Georgia Tech’s offense played really well Friday night. That, in large part, is due to the play of quarterback TaQuon Marshall and offensive lineman Parker Braun. Both players saw their efforts rewarded this week, being named ACC Players of the Week.

Hey, we aren’t the only SB Nation blog that does film reviews! Card Chronicle does their film reviews a little differently from us, but it’s still really good, albeit Louisville-focused. Go check it out, though!

In honor of the Yellow Jackets’ 66-point showcase Friday night, the Athletic Association announced that they would be selling “Stinger Passes” for $66, which is essentially mobile season tickets for the rest of this season’s home games. It’s a pretty good deal that y’all should check out!
