You know things have gotten bad when CBS Sports leads off an article with this:
Two ACC powerhouses in search of their first conference victory square off Friday...
The good news is that Georgia Tech is a 4.5-point road favorite, which might even make us look like a real powerhouse to a casual onlooker who forgot that Lamar Jackson already moved on to the NFL. Also, a public service announcement: don’t bother clicking the link at the bottom of the article to try and see who the highly-touted computer program picked because you have to subscribe. SAD. Unless you’re into that, of course.
I had no idea that the old Engineer’s Bookstore building was being restored and turned into some very nice office space, but the above article from Curbed has a great look at the historic building’s journey from condemnation to a new life. That whole part of Marietta Street is undergoing some big changes, so the fact that they’re keeping one of the older buildings in-tact is nice to see. I’d work there just for the proximity to Delia’s Chicken Sausage Stand and their sweet tea icees.
DAWGS in the MLB

Though I’m writing this before the Braves and Dodgers play game one of the NLDS, I feel strongly that UGA baseball’s Twitter account has ruined everything with the abomination shown above.
Acknowledging that Alex Wood and those less important Georgia alumni are in the playoffs? Sure, that’s fine. Tweeting a picture that says “Good luck to our Dodger Dawgs”? Much less so. Let Buzz show you the right way to do things:
