Georgia Tech will look to pick up its first ACC win when it host the No. 15 Miami Hurricanes Wednesday night.
Miami sits at 12-1 having won its ACC opener on the road against Pittsburgh and with its only loss to a pretty good New Mexico State team.
Miami ranks sixth in the country in KenPom’s Adjusted Defensive Efficiency and third in Effective Field Goal Percentage, so Tech’s points tonight will be at a premium. Look for a low-scoring game.
In other news, former Georgia Tech wide receiver Calvin Johnson wrote an article for The Players’ Tribune detailing his life in retirement.
Johnson details why he retired from the NFL and how he has enjoyed his time away from the game. It is a great read and gives insight into the lives of our favorite athletes off the field which we all too often seem to forget.
