After being released by the Orlando Magic, Marcus Georges-Hunt agreed to terms on a training camp deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday. Georges-Hunt appeared in five games for Orlando last season, but played primarily in the D-League.

Hopefully MGH is able to impress his new club and make the roster for the upcoming season.

Juanyeh Thomas became the 14th member of Georgia Tech’s 2018 recruiting class when he committed to the Yellow Jackets on Tuesday.

Thomas is a three-star CB from Niceville, Fla. with a 0.8254 rating by the 247Sports Composite Rankings. His other two finalists were Auburn and Florida.

Georgia Tech held its first practice in full pads on Tuesday.

DT Kyle Cerge-Henderson said following practice, “It’s always a blast... Everybody being able to move around more. You can seperate who’s going to be able to do what.”

Lucas Johnson impressed during the first practice in pads with a long touchdown run and a deep completion to redshirt freshman WR Alan Bussoletti.
