At the beginning of the month, Peach County OLB JaQuez Jackson became the first (non-silent) commit to Georgia Tech, and was followed by an avalanche of commits to get the 2018 class started. Days later, Jackson de-committed in a shocking move. He later visited Georgia Tech and Paul Johnson with his family, and it became apparent that the door was still open for him to return, which he did today:
Best decision in my life! Negative opinions have no affect on me ..I'm in God's hands #swarm18 pic.twitter.com/jHFMrC0FxT— JaQuez Jackson (@killerathlete59) June 22, 2017
In his tweet, he mentioned that it was important that his family be able to experience Georgia Tech before he committed, which led to the de-commitment. For film breakdown, check out our article here from when Jackson originally committed.
