Technical Tidbits 6/15: It’s Definitely The Offseason

Ken Sugiura of the AJC has been running a photo series of candids he took while covering Georgia Tech sports this last year.

It has been a cool, behind-the-scenes series that sheds some light on the things that happen behind the scenes. I particularly enjoyed the photo from the football’s trip to Top Golf during the TaxSlayer Bowl trip where it shows a couple of defensive leaders discussing the upcoming game and strategy with Ted Roof. It shows their relationship with him and how focused the team was going into the game. Their are 2 installments of the series that are worth your time should you find yourself bored at work.

Football season ticket sales are on pace for a 6 year high

Coming off a 9-win season, and featuring an exciting home schedule, season ticket sales are on pace to be their highest in several years. The whole season ticket package is also the only way to purchase from Georgia Tech’s allotment for the opener against Tennessee in the Mercedes-Benz Dome.

The home schedule also features games against UNC, Virginia Tech, and our rivals out to the east.

So let this be our PSA to you: buy your season tickets if you haven’t already. Whole-season packages start at $300. You can probably afford that before Labor Day! We’ll see you in the stands.
