We’re truly in the doldrums of summer around here with not much going on. The biggest news from yesterday was that the Yellow Jackets got a couple more of their game times announced:

The Tennessee game on Labor Day night, as well as the Thursday night game at Miami, were both previously announced for 8pm. If you’re keeping track, that’s 4 night games for Georgia Tech already this season, albeit none of them at home.
After struggling for exposure last season with seemingly nothing but noon kickoffs, these hand full of night games will be a welcome change. The Labor Day and Thursday night games will specifically give the Yellow Jackets and their beautiful, beat-you-to-death-with-a-sock-full-of-nickels flexbone offense more exposure on a national scale.

One would do well to take preseason predictions of any kind with a grain of salt... after all Vegas has the o/u for Tech at 6.5 wins. However, it’s refreshing to have someone from the AJC who’s not the beat reporter high on the Yellow Jackets for this fall. Any idea on the o/u for the amount of years in a row that Tech would have to beat georgia for us to get our own website from them also? For discussion purposes, we’ll start this at 4.5.
