Not a whole lot going on today, but after the last couple days, that’s ok.
Bruce Jordan-Swilling quickly improving at LB
The true freshman has wasted no time in his position change from RB in high school to LB on The Flats. Despite the steep on-field learning curve, there may not be a more improved player on the field this season. Filling in for the injured Brant Mitchell, Jordan-Swilling both forced and recovered a fumble last week, along with 11 tackles, and a pick-6. Not a bad day on the field, even though it was a loss.
If the Yellow Jackets hope to upset the Hokies on Saturday, they will certainly need a big game out of Jordan-Swilling. He has an incredibly high upside as an athlete, and is certain to be a terror to opposing offenses for years to come as he improves in the scheme and gains more experience.
You may have heard the Ga Tech basketball team is in China
Ahead of the Yellow Jackets’ opening game against UCLA this weekend in Shanghai, the AJC has been keeping a photo blog of the trip. The 6ft+ basketball players certainly standout in China, and it’s worth scrolling through both days of the photos so far.
