Technical Tidbits 11/29: Yellow Jackets Beat Northwestern in ACC-Big Ten Challenge

Tadric Jackson secured the win at the buzzer

NCAA Basketball: Pittsburgh at Georgia Tech Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

Georgia Tech improved to 4-1 on the basketball season when Tadric Jackson made a shot at the final buzzer to secure a 52-51 win over Northwestern.

Tech led most of the game, but Northwestern made a push late in the second half to overcome a 10-point deficit. The Wildcats took a 51-50 lead with seven seconds left in the game, but Jackson was not about to let Tech go down so easily.

This win was huge for the Jackets as it should be a good résumé booster in March. Tech has remaining marquee non-conference games against Tennessee and Georgia.

In other news, a video surfaced on TMZ of Step Durham knocking out Lance Austin with one punch.

The incident apparently occurred during spring practice, which leads one to believe the video was sent to TMZ at the conclusion of the season so as to avoid any repercussions. It’s obviously not a good look for the program, but I definitely would not cross Step Durham anytime soon.
