A lot of us were nervous coming into today’s game after the offense had issues against Boston College and Mercer, and knowing that the defense seemed shaky at times over the first couple of weeks.
Your concerns were eased, at least for a game, on Saturday.
Georgia Tech absolutely smoked Vanderbilt in this game today, with the first really satisfying offensive performance against a Power-5 opponent in at least a year, if not since 2014. The defense did a fantastic job of bottling up Vanderbilt’s offense too, and not letting the Commodores back into the game as the Yellow Jackets built a lead.
