Coming off of a pair of wins to start their season against Boston College and Mercer, the Yellow Jackets are at home today looking to extend their perfect start to 3-0 against the Vanderbilt Commodores. The ‘Dores come in at 1-1 following a season-opening 13-10 home loss to South Carolina and a 47-24 home blowout of Middle Tennessee State last week. They bring a highly talented and capable defense with them that should challenge the Yellow Jackets’ offense.

The teams are playing for...uh...a silver-plated cowbell titled the “Georgia Tech-Vanderbilt Football Trophy”. Georgia Tech is currently on a 5-game winning streak in this historic rivalry, winning most recently over Vanderbilt in 2009, and aims to extend that streak on the Flats today.
