Now that the NCAA-mandated recruiting dead period is over, the Roundup is back! There is a lot of new information to cover since the lat time we did one of these in earnest.

Firstly, the Jackets just picked up their seventh commitment of the 2017 class in Savannah, Ga. OL Zach Quinney. Quinney is one of the four 3-star players currently committed to Georgia Tech, along with three 2-stars.

In other news, another top Tech OL target - Demetris Harris - listed the Jackets in his top three. Harris is a 3-star prospect according to Rivals (5.6) and the 247Sports Composite rankings (0.8207).

The Jackets also held a camp on The Flats recently, with many recruits in attendance.

Lastly, there have been a few offers from Georgia Tech since the dead period has ended. Here they are:

Tre Douglas, 2018 3-star DB, 6’2", 180 pounds, McDonough, Ga.

("Georgia Tech University" trigger warning)

Malik Willis, 2017 3-star ATH, 6’2", 188 pounds, Roswell, Ga.

Trey Dean, 2018 3-star DB, 6’2", 180 pounds, Hampton, Ga.
