Georgia Tech Recruiting Roundup 6/10: Two Commitments, New Offers, and an Interesting Visitor

Things seem to have picked up significantly on the recruiting trail for Georgia Tech. The Jackets picked up their second and third commitments in the 2017 class this week in OL/DL Connor Hansen and LB T.D. Roof, son of current defensive coordinator Ted Roof.

Additionally, there has been much more recruiting news flowing in for Tech as summer has begun. While many players are receiving offers, camps and visits have also picked up. Here are the latest offers being extended by Georgia Tech:

Naytron Culpepper, DB, 6'0", 175 pounds

First of all, this would easily top Quaide Weimerskirch as the best name currently on Tech's roster. Culpepper is a three-star safety, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He has offers from Tennessee, Michigan State and South Carolina, among others, and his recruitment seems to only be picking up.

Joseph Bulovas, K, 6'0", 205 pounds

Bulovas is a three-star kicker from Mandeville, La. He received an offer from Tech after impressing the coaching staff during the camps the Jackets held last weekend. Some of Bulovas's other offers include Air Force, Louisiana-Lafayette and Tulane.

In addition to just the offers that have been sent out, there has been other various types of recruiting news for the Yellow Jackets.

Malik Cunningham, QB, 6'0", 187 pounds

Cunningham, a 3-star QB currently committed to Louisville, took a visit to Georgia Tech earlier this week. The Jackets need a quarterback in this class, and were recently eliminated from contention by 3-star Texas QB Frank Harris.

Demetris Harris, OL, 6’3”, 270 pounds

Harris - a three-star Georgia Tech OL target we’ve mentioned here before - announced he will be attending a camp on The Flats this summer.
