The Yellow Jackets continue their effort to right the ship of 2015-2016 on Tuesday night as they host the newly-unranked Duke Blue Devils at the McCamish Pavilion. Georgia Tech is coming off of a 3-point loss on Saturday at Syracuse, which saw them fall to 12-9, but more importantly 2-6 in ACC play. The Yellow Jackets' postseason hopes are fading fast with each loss, but there remains a possibility of turning that around with a senior roster that has played extremely well at times. They'll have a major opportunity on Tuesday night with a home game against the Blue Devils, who at 15-6 (4-4) find themselves unranked in this week's poll, breaking a streak of 156 straight weeks of being ranked. They've lost four of their last five, including this weekend's contest at Miami where they fell by an 11-point margin.
With both teams struggling lately, the Yellow Jackets hope to take the opportunity to pull off a win and get some momentum in the right direction. A win would break Georgia Tech's multi-year losing streak to Duke, which extends all the way back to January of 2010 -- a span of 8 games.
