In what seemed like has been the same thing happening over and over again, the Yellow Jackets lost their last game with that one coming against Miami. Now, once again, they look to rebound. This time, they actually have a very good chance since they are playing a team that they are actually better than in Wake Forest.
Wake Forest doesn't have a terrible offense, averaging 73.7 points per game, but its defense has been an issue all season, giving up 79.4 points per game.
The offense is led by three players who are averaging 10 points or more per game. Leading the way is senior forward Devin Thomas, who leads the team with 16 points per game. He is doing this while shooting 55.5 percent from the field. He's been an absolute monster in the paint on both offense and defense. He also leads the team with 9.9 rebounds per game (69 on offense, 159 on defense). He has not attempted a shot from beyond the 3-point line, though.
After Thomas, freshman guard Bryant Crawford is the team's best player. Crawford is averaging 13.5 points per game, while shooting 39.2 percent from the field. He's also the team's best 3-point shooter (45-of-105) and leads the team in assists (92) and steals (28).
Joining these guys in the starting line-up should be senior guard Codi Miller-McIntyre, sophomore guard Mitchell Wilbekin and sophomore forward Dinos Mitoglou.
