So it looks like the Military Bowl against Houston, then. Like I said last week, I like this matchup. Houston does not look like the same team that beat Oklahoma in Week 1 after dropping games to Navy and SMU and falling down three touchdowns before coming back to beat UCF.

That said, Houston is still a very good football team. They have an explosive offense and a solid defensive front, though it’s been proven that an option offense can put up points against it.

Tech’s offense looked great against Duke, thanks to a monster performance from Justin Thomas. The Jackets’ defense may not fare so great against Houston’s offense, but we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.

All things considered, this would be a fun game to watch. And Annapolis on December 27 is worlds better than Detroit on December 26. Or any day, for that matter.
