Well it took a while, but the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets were finally able to finish a game in conference play for the second time, as they beat NC State 90-83. Now they will look to make it two in a row as they take on the Syracuse Orange.
This Syracuse team isn't quite as good as it has been in the past, but it is still fairly formidable, averaging 70.9 points per game and giving up 64.7 points per game.
The offense is led by three players who are each averaging 10 points per game or more, with senior forward Michael Gbinije. He is averaging 17.3 points per game while shooting 45.3 percent from the floor. He's also the teams' leading stealer with 53. He's also solid with rebounding (4.1/game) and assists (4.5/game).
The other major player that the Yellow Jackets will need to handle is junior forward Tyler Robinson. Robinson is averaging 9.9 points per game and 9.0 assists per game (about even between offensive and defensive). He is shooting 50.3 percent from the floor.
Joining these two in the starting lineup will be senior guard Trevor Cooney (14 ppg || 35.8 percent shooting || 61-of-166 from 3-point line), freshman Malachi Richardson (13.5 ppg || 38.5 percent shooting || 50-of-138 from 3-point line) and senior center DaJuan Coleman (4.8 ppg || 54.1 percent shooting || 16 blocks).
Game Time: 12:00 p.m. EST
