Dodd After Dark Returns for 2015

The series of movies begins tonight with Disney's Big Hero 6.

Dodd After Dark returns tonight, so we're going to tell you all about it! The series of movies begins with Disney's Big Hero 6, which has had quite a bit of success recently. It will be a night of fun for families, but there are also some key things to remember (NOTE: All information comes from

  • The gates open at 7 p.m. and the movie will start at 8 p.m.
  • Parking will be available for FREE to guests at the Peters Parking Deck, the McCamish and O'Keefe Lots and non-metered street parking after 5 p.m.
  • To get to where the movie will be playing, attendees will need to make their way to the field tunnel off of Calaway Plaza, near gate six.
  • What to bring: blankets, lawn chairs (not allowed on the grass), unopened bottles of water, bags (searched upon entry) and strollers (not allowed on the field or sidelines; must be left in a designated area just inside of the stadium).
  • What not to bring: food, beverages (except unopened bottles of water), alcoholic beverages, coolers, thermos bottles, TVs, ice bags, horns/other noisemakers, laser pointers, video cameras, cameras with a lense longer than four inches, pets, large flags/banners/signs, weapons and any other item deemed dangerous or inappropriate by security.
  • There will be designated areas of the field where attendees can sit. And for season-ticket holders in attendance, there will be a reserved area on a first-come, first-serve basis. To qualify for this, you must bring the special email which the Athletic Association will send you the morning of the event.
  • There will be limited concessions for sale, with trash cans and recycling bins placed around the field.
  • Restrooms will be made available in the Club section of the stadium. ADA-accessible restrooms can be found at the tunnel/north concourse.
  • In the event of rain, attendees may be asked to move to the stands in order to reduce damage to the field. And in the event of lightning in the area, out of safety for attendees and workers, the event will end and not be rescheduled.
  • Following the movie, should weather permit, there will also be a fireworks presentation.
