After beating one of the 12-seeds from last year's NCAA Tournament, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets look to be in pretty good shape as conference play comes closer and closer, with just a handful of non-conference games left.
There's not much of a different way to describe Tulane than simply decent. They are certainly not world-beaters, but at the same time, they have some decent scoring (70.8 points per game) and have some solid players.
Leading their offense is senior guard Louis Dabney who, while he's not an efficient shooter at just 37.1 percent from the floor, scores a lot of points. He's currently averaging 14.8 points per game. Most of that, comes from his three-point shooting and his free throws. He's made 15-of-39 on threes and 22-of-25 free throws. He's also a solid defensive rebounder with 17 and is third on the team in steals with six.
Joining Dabney in the starting five are guards Malik Morgan and Melvin Frazier and forwards Dylan Osetkowski and Jernard Jarreau. Morgan and Osetkowski are two other dynamic players on Tulane's roster. Morgan is averaging 10.7 points per game, while shooting 46 percent from the floor. He also has 23 defensive rebounds and 10 steals. Osetkowski has 10.3 points per game, while shooting 42 percent from the floor. He has 37 defensive rebounds and averages 9.0 total rebounds per game.
