After a disappointing loss on the road this past weekend, the Yellow Jackets return to McCamish Pavilion to try and get back on track as they take on the Southeastern Louisiana Lions.
The Lions have just not been good this year. They are averaging just 67.7 points per game, while giving up 75.8 points per game. They are also 0-6 on the road this year.
Their offense is led by senior Zay Jackson, who leads the team with 11.5 points per game, while shooting 39 percent from the floor. Jackson is a much better defensive player, specifically in terms of steals. He leads the Lions with 22 steals.
The other major player the Jackets are going to need to watch out for is junior Keith Charleston. He is second on the team with nine points per game, but shoots 64.7 percent from the floor (granted in half the shots of Zay Jackson). He's also an excellent defender, leading the team with 41 defensive rebounds and averaging 6.2 rebounds per game.
According to the game notes, Charleston is not projected to start, but we'll see how much playing time he gets. Joining Zay Jackson in the projected starting lineup is Dimi Cook (7.0 ppg || 39.3 percent shooting), Joshua Fillmore (8.5 ppg || 36.8 percent shooting || 22-of-65 from three), Mo Greenwood (6.2 ppg || 56.5 percent shooting) and Dominic Nelson (2.3 ppg || 40 percent shooting).
