Update: July 30, 3:00pm
Ratliffe is awake and responsive. He is still considered to be in critical condition and is being held in intensive care, but his condition would appear to have improved from his condition upon arrival at the hospital. He reportedly suffered a skull fracture which resulted in some brain swelling, leading to his being kept sedated last night and taken into surgery. He was also with one of his teammates, although he only suffered minor leg injuries and was released after treatment.
After committing to Georgia Tech last night, TaQuon Marshall tweeted out his support for Ratliffe.
GT fans and commits let's keep Jaylend Ratliffe in our prayers he was in a four wheeler accident!!
