Georgia Tech's recruiting class is really starting to explode! Already sitting at six commitments, the Yellow Jackets added two more in the last 24 hours in WR Christian Philpott and AB Nathan Cottrell.
The 6-2, 200 lb. Christian Philpott goes to high school at North Florida Christian in Tallahassee, Florida. Per Rivals, Philpott is a three-star recruit, with offers from a number of schools, most notably Louisville, Ole Miss, Penn State, and Wisconsin. Apparently, some people have not been happy with the fact that he chose Georgia Tech. Through his Twitter, he responded to these critics.
I don't care what y'all say I'm gonna do me at Georgia Tech and still be a great wide receiver

I'm really starting to like this kid. Here's his film.
Georgia Tech's other commitment came from 5-10, 185 lb. AB Nathan Cottrell. Per 247, Cottrell is a two-star recruit that does not have any major offers other than Tech, but has received interest from major schools such as Clemson, LSU, Missouri, and Tennessee.
Cottrell ran a 4.33 at Georgia Tech's camp today, a day after running a 4.33 and 4.36 at MTSU. He ran 4.36 at Duke, 4.3 at Wofford.

This kid has the kind of speed that will allow him to be a huge threat at A-Back on Toss Sweeps. Here's his film.
Eric Thompson of GT Swarm was the first to break the news on both of his commitments, so kudos to you Eric if you're reading this. You run a great site!
What do y'all think of these two recruits? Will our recruiting explosion continue?
