Hey Trey, is now a good time?

Yeah, I just finished my basketball game so now is good.

How'd you do? I assume you play PF or C?

Yup, I play forward. We won by about 16 -- first playoff game Friday!

Awesome, good luck! Were there any other schools recruiting you hard, and why Georgia Tech over them?

I had a few other offers and some of them continued to recruit me after I committed to Georgia Tech, but I didn't return their calls or take any visits. I love everything about Georgia Tech and I committed just a few days after my first visit. The combination of academics and the chance to play major college football in the south was something I couldn't pass up. The distance from home was my only concern but my parents and brother support my decision and will visit me as much as possible.

Recent grad myself, I can tell you that you won't regret it. I know that you guys have gotten to know each other pretty well as a class. Is there anyone you particularly like or are looking to room with?

We've been really close as a class. We talk all the time on Twitter and through texts. I think that's a special thing to have. I'm close with a lot of guys but so far Andrew Marshall and I have gotten along really well. I'll room with him for sure.

Do you know where you'll play yet? I know there was talk of OL, DL, and TE/receiver.

I'll start out at OL, and possibly move to TE.

Any plans on what you want to study?

Definitely looking to study business. I already have an internship in my senior and can't wait to find one in Atlanta!

Anything you want the fans to know about you?

Just that I come from a football family. My dad and three uncles all played college football, and one uncle played at Lafayette before spending a year with the Eagles. My dad is also my high school coach, and my brother was on the team too. Otherwise, just that I'm ready to work and compete!
