With Signing Day in the books, we're starting a series where you'll meet each of the new signees! Tune in these next few weeks as we meet each one of the newest Yellow Jackets.

Today, we are going to introduce Stepheny "Step" Durham IV, CB out of Atlantic Coast High School (Jacksonville, FL). He stands in at 5'11" and weighs 185 lbs. Durham committed to Tech on 6/8/2013. He comes highly recruited with offers from South Carolina, Tennessee, and Nebraska, just to name a few. On film, you begin to see why he gained a lot interest. His man-to-man coverage is outstanding and with his forty (4.69 seconds), he has the speed to stick it to receivers. Durham also has great instincts and vision. He knows where the ball is at all times and is a natural when the ball is in the air as he goes toe to toe with his opponent. Durham is very agile (38 inch vertical) and can jump up and snatch the football. He will have to work on his consistency. There are times when Durham looks out of sync and loses his man in coverage.

Durham is the type of player Ted Roof has been looking for: fast, aggressive, and plays hard to the final second. He knows how to get pressure on the opposing team, both in coverage and the occasional pass rush. He will be a great addition to Roof's backfield.

Overall, Step Durham is a great athlete and is fun to watch on film. He is what Tech has been missing in backfield for a while. He is a pure athlete. His speed and agility make him the player he is. Durham has the tools to become a great football player at Georgia Tech and is their highest-rated player for this class. If he works hard this spring and learns the defense, he could help contribute in 2014.

Stepheny Durham is rated 4 stars by Rivals (5.8) and 3 stars by 247 Sports' Composite Rankings (.8793).

What are your expectations for Step while at Tech? Does he break into the depth chart in the fall of 2014?
