Congratulations to Justin Thomas for being named to Scout's 2014 Sophomore All-American Team. He lost out to first-teamer and former Heisman winner Jameis Winston.
Justin Thomas had perhaps the best season a quarterback has ever had under head coach Paul Johnson. He finished the season completing 50.9 percent of his passes for 1594 yards, 17 touchdowns and only five interceptions.
He also dominated on the ground, rushing for 965 yards (team lead) and five touchdowns while also guiding Johnson's famed option attack.
And now, here's some video highlights from his first season as the starter.
Also named to the honorable mention team was first-year starting center Freddie Burden. Burden replaced Jay Finch after battling it out with Auburn transfer Thomas O'Reilly.
People apparently don't enjoy OL highlights like I do, so I apologize for not being able to find a highlight video for him too.
Congrats to Justin and Freddie!
