This morning, December commencement ceremonies were held at McCamish Pavilion to celebrate the graduation of numerous undergraduate Georgia Tech students. Among them were 31 athletes from 9 sports, with another two having graduated at last night's Master's ceremony (including safety Isaiah Johnson). You'll also notice that former Yellow Jacket Point Guard Jarrett Jack made it back and has completed his degree -- an impressive feat in the midst of an NBA career.
What these athletes have accomplished on the field has been great, but what they've accomplished in the classroom and will go on to accomplish in life are much greater. Some of these individuals are the first in their family to graduate from college, making the honor that much more special.
