This afternoon, Georgia Tech's athletic department released the official injury report prior to this weekend's game against NC State.
GEORGIA TECH INJURY REPORT (NC STATE)
OUT
Zach Laskey (shoulder)
Charles Perkins (knee)
Some of the biggest news here is the absence of Pat Gamble, who last week had a monster game as a first-time starter at defensive end before leaving the game on a cart. Though the injury last week required so much precaution as to require him to be carted off, it looks like Gamble will be playing this week -- good news for a defensive front that had one of its best games of the year with him participating last week.
Also discussion-worthy on here is the continued absence of an ailing Zach Laskey, as well as Charles Perkins. Both returned to practice this week, but would seem to not be in physical condition to play just yet. Here's to hoping they both make it back for Clemson, when Georgia Tech will need every bit of offensive firepower available against one of the nation's top defenses.
