Georgia Tech Football: Over/Unders vs Elon

This season we'll be doing Over/Under bets for different stats in each game.

Countdown to Kickoff: 2 Days!

Over/Under 1.5 Georgia Tech B-Backs with 100 Yards Rushing

I'm going with the over here, on the premise that either Sims or Laskey will go for 100 yards with relative ease, and that Snoddy will breakaway for a long run at some point on his way to 100 yards. It's up to you to decide how the ballcarrier distribution will look though.

Over/Under 12.5 Georgia Tech Pass Attempts

Fun fact: this line came from an unnamed local celebrity on Wednesday via the official FTRS text line. (No, that's not a real thing, and no, I'm not giving you the number.) I'm taking the under, though it may be close. Extremely easy opponent in game one of the season makes me think the offense will be extremely vanilla as CPJ avoids showing anything more than he really has to. Like, he probably won't even run the Ray Beno pass.

Over/Under 10.5 Points for Elon

I'm going under here. It's a new system and all, but our guys are way too talented to allow these guys more than 10 points...and even that many would be a head-scratcher.

Over/Under 0.5 4th Quarter Drives Featuring Vad Lee or Justin Thomas

Under. No chance that these guys are in the game that long unless there's some major malfunction going on.

Over/Under 150 Elon Offensive Yards

You know what, I'll go over here simply because I think by the time the walk-on defense is on the field Elon will put together a decent drive and manage 150 yards on offense.

Spread: Georgia Tech -46.5

Huge line, but this game is going to be a slaughter. Elon had a terrible rushing defense last year, and that was against FCS competition.

Those are my selections. Time to hear yours! We'll start a leaderboard after this game. Winner over the course of the season will get a "lucrative" prize...definition of "lucrative" is at my discretion and TBD.
