Today we're discussing television, totally questionable football strategies, and trying to get paid.

I'm guessing Syracuse missed the "wear your jersey" memo.

Why does Joey have an apparent man-crush on quarterbacks that aren’t even on his own team?

I don't, SEC Media Days was in the news last week so I thought they were relevant to bring up.

What took Juniors' place on campus?

There's a Highland Bakery there now. Not as iconic or cheap, but still make a pretty mean breakfast.

What’s the deal with the ACC and the YES network? Will we see an ACC Network?

YES will be broadcasting ACC football and basketball games this year, as well as AAC basketball games. Not really sure what that means for us since I don't think that channel is available around here, but more publicity for the league can't hurt right? In my opinion, I don't think we're very close to seeing an ACC network. As things tend to go, we'll see one eventually, but I don't think it'll be within the next year or two.

Is it possible to slingbox in China? I’ll be there for the VT and UNC games.

Yessir! Anywhere with an internet connection.

Good DE can be hard to find. Good NT are hard to find. MLB can be tough to find too to since they have to alternate between pass coverage and run stuffing. The idea then is to replace both DE with DT and then put one DT in each of the A-gaps, and B-gaps. The linebackers could then align wide to cover the C and D gaps. You don’t need DE because an OLB can handle the pass rush. You don’t need a NT because you have four DT clogging up the interior gaps. You don’t need a traditional MLB because the DT fill the interior gaps at the outset. With four DT pushing against the OL, you think the traditional power play that offenses like to run would become a thing of the past because if a guard pulls, he’s probably opening a hole for a DT to penetrate through. With four DT pushing against the center of the line, as opposed to two with a typical 4-3, you would think the pocket could be collapsed from the inside out. That would flush the QB to one side of the field and thus simultaneously make it harder to throw to half of the field and expose the QB to the LB.

Greatest idea ever? Good idea? Poorly thought out idea? Already tried and refuted idea?

Sounds like it would be a great idea if the forward pass weren't legal. I just think it would inhibit anyone on the defensive line from making it to help out on the outside.

After the Pizza Dip incident, what toppings do you order at the Mellow ’Shroom?

I'm a pepperoni, sausage, peppers, onions, and mushrooms kind of guy. Or if I'm at Fellini's and paying for my own, just pepperoni and peppers. Had a really good slice of Baby Tommy's bacon-chicken-ranch for lunch yesterday as well...

How many recruits will give their verbals between now and the end of August? And are we going to hang tight waiting for those guys who insist on juggling 4 or 5 offers right into 2014?

By the start of the season, my guess is that we get 3 more verbals. There are enough guys out there that don't want recruiting hanging over their heads while they're still trying to perform in high school, so I'd bet we have at least two more over the next month-plus. Also, the one thing I've ever heard is that if CPJ found a real gamebreaker, he'd make a spot for them. Which basically suggests to me that we won't hold our breath, but we also won't turn them away.

Right now, my dream career is to get paid copious amounts of money to either play golf or shoot skeet. The question is, how do I get that career? ...Oh! You were asking us about asking you about your dream career… Ok, what is your dream career?

As much as getting paid to play golf sounds really awesome, the game is frustrating enough that I wouldn't really want to put in the time to be good enough to make money. Honestly, my dream career would probably involve being a radio or TV broadcaster doing play-by-play for baseball and football games. I can't tell you how many times I'd "play out" Braves games in my room with a little L'ville Slugger bat and plush baseball. I'm sure it was adorable.

And before you mention it, no, I have not thrown my name in the hat to take over for Wes Durham.

Of all the snaps taken by Vad, what percentage will be under center and what percentage will be in the pistol?
Of all the snaps taken by Thomas, what percentage will be under center and what percentage will be in the pistol?
Of all the snaps taken by Byerly, what percentage will be under center and what percentage will be in the pistol?

Of all the snaps taken by the GT offense, what percentage will be taken by Vad?
Of all the snaps taken by the GT offense, what percentage will be taken by Thomas?
Of all the snaps taken by the GT offense, what percentage will be taken by Byerly?
Of all the snaps taken by the GT offense, what percentage will be taken by others?

Of all plays with Vad at QB, what percentage will be passes and what percentage will be runs?
Of all plays with Thomas at QB, what percentage will be passes and what percentage will be runs?
Of all plays with Byerly at QB, what percentage will be passes and what percentage will be runs?

Lots of questions! I like your style. In order...

Center/Pistol: 60%/40%, 15%/85%, 80%/20%

Lee 70%, Thomas 25%, Byerly 4%, Other 1%

Pass/Run: 30%/70%, 20%/80%, 10%/90%

What happened at the camp last weekend? And why the hell has everyone been so silent about it? WTF is going on???

This is a question for Chas. My understanding, though, is that this camp is where we were surveying and offering offensive linemen. I'm sure there was a lot more to it though.
