Georgia Tech's men's golf team has made it into the 30-team NCAA Championships after their fourth-place finish in this weekend's Tallahassee Regional. Tech actually has the luxury of playing close to home, as it plays host Institution for the tournament being held May 28 at the Capital City Club's Crabapple Course in Milton, GA. We'll keep you updated on their progress!
In today's day and age, it's nice seeing a little swagger come out of the ACC -- a conference getting used to taking a beating from all sides. When you start looking at it though, Coach Gregory's really on to something when he says that the ACC, after adding Syracuse, Pitt, Louisville, and Notre Dame, will be the best basketball conference ever. Very interesting read, I'd recommend taking a moment and perusing his arguments there.
You know, at first I was really excited about #themigration, Coach Preston Pehrson's method of using social media to attract recruits from around the country. I'm starting to rethink that excitement now.
In other recruiting news, Adam Choice (Tashard Choice's cousin) was visiting this weekend, and ran into a couple of Georgia Tech legends while here.
Rounding out today's tidbits are Johnny Manziel trolling hard, and an overly-excited hockey coach who has something in common with Rod Sweeting now.
