The Detail: Lorenzo Carter is the last of the "Norcross 3" ranked in the Rivals 250 we're going to look at (in addition to LB Kevin Mouhon and ATH Myles Autry), and might be the best DE prospect in the state of Georgia. He's a 5-star prospect actually ranked in the Rivals 100 (ranked #9 nationally), and watching him play I'm reminded of the raw athleticism that made Francis Kallon a highly sought after prospect...except Carter knows what he's doing at this point in his career. He is so quick, makes really uncanny movements to avoid blockers, closes fast, and plays sideline-to-sideline. His frame is still thin and has the ability to add lots of weight.

Tech's Chances: It's possible. Back in summer 2012, Georgia Tech gave Carter his first (and always important) major college offer at the team's summer camp. He's been reticent to name any favorites, and guys like this go down to the wire. We'll check back with his progress later.
