The Detail: Saeed Blacknall is a 4-star WR prospect from suburban New Jersey ranked in the Rivals 250 (ranked as the #14 WR) with prototypical size, especially for the GT Spread Option. From his film, you see great hands, leaping ability, a long-striding speed, and likes to use his physical frame in the open field. He is a similar style of WR as 2013 Tech signing Ricky Jeune, also from NJ.

Tech's Chances: Good. Blacknall recently visited Tech on a tour of the southern states and by reports thoroughly enjoyed the visit. He had been eyeing Tech for a while, and had very mature things to say about the Tech offense. He has said that despite being a run-first offense, a talented and intelligent player will get touches...and is fully aware of the NFL success of Demaryius Thomas and Stephen Hill. He also thinks the city of Atlanta is a positive. At this point, however, his favorites include LSU, Clemson, and FSU.
